  1. What is pageant life coaching and is there a difference from life coaching?

I have created pageant life coaching based on my experience in pageant participation and corporate coaching. Whenever you are competing in a pageant, so much is going on in your life. You may have school work, finals, a full time job, friends, fitness training, a family to take care of and more! I have been through all of these stages while competing in pageants and I know it is quite a balancing act. I have learned so much over the last 17 years, and I am eager to share this information with you. As a life coach, I will encourage you to be your authentic self and to expand beyond your perceived limitations. As a result of our sessions, you will feel stronger, achieve greater, targeted results and eager to raise the bar even higher.

  2. What can I expect from a coaching session?

Your first session will last approximately 45-60 minutes. During this time we will get to know each other, discuss expectations and plan our upcoming sessions. For many of you we will get together weekly for 30 minutes and then there will be "action items" that you and I will each work on before our next session. At the end of a session you will feel energized and excited about your accomplishments and eager to accomplish your next set of "action items".

  3. Will you only coach individuals competing in pageants?

I will concentrate my efforts and skills of life coaching on women competing in pageants. However, when the pageant is over, we don't need to automatically stop meeting. The beauty of life coaching is that it is all about forward movement. You don't want to lose that momentum and there is much more to accomplish. Post pageant is a great time to strategize for your future. We will absolutely want to meet to discuss the skills you have learned and what is in store for your future.

  4. How are the sessions conducted? Do I need to come to your office?

A majority of our sessions will be conducted over the phone and we will exchange many e-mails. And by the way, I love modern technology so we can meet via Skype or iChat as well. If you are in my area (Southeastern PA) we can certainly meet in person for more intensified sessions. As I plan my travel circuit for the year, I will be sure to notify clients and we can arrange a personal 1:1 meeting if I am going to be in your area. I want to emphasize that meeting in person is not necessary, and my coaching is just as effective over the phone.

  5. Does pageant life coaching replace the need for other pageant coaches?

Most elite pageant contestants hire one or more coaches in preparation for a pageant and for their time as a titleholder. It really depends on your goals, and I believe that through the life coaching process we can uncover the potential need for a more specialized coach (fitness, interview, public speaking, talent...) if that need exists. The great thing about my experience in pageantry, I can provide you exceptional advice in all phases of competition while at the same time teaching you how to embrace your strengths and talents with renewed self confidence.

  6. What types of contestants will you coach?

I coach for all pageant systems whether they be platform or otherwise based. As for individual characteristics of those I coach I will look for contestants:

    • Eager to improve their quality of life through goal setting and success strategies
    • Willing to learn and grow from all of their experiences
    • Open-minded contestants willing to be challenged and try new approaches
    • Who want tools, techniques and structure to unlock their potential
